Absences and Vacations

We expect students to attend each class of a trimester. Consistent attendance is important for mastering the concepts presented in class.

If your child has to miss a class, please let the teacher know by email or phone. The teacher will let you know how to make up for the missed class: most times, there are other sections of the same class your student can attend the same week instead. In addition, the teacher will know to email you the class summary and homework.

Student Records

It is very important that all the emergency contact information is kept up to date and correct. Please inform us immediately of any changes. We need to keep your information current.

Mask Policies

Prime Factor follows the guidelines of King County Department of Health. As of fall of 2021, students and teachers are asked to wear a face mask inside our buildings.

Sick students

Please don't send a sick student to classes. To protect all our students, we also kindly ask to inform us if a family member or a student have tested positive for COVID-19.

In case of a serious accident or sudden illness requiring immediate medical attention, the following procedures will be followed.

  • A phone call to 911 might be made.
  • The child's parents (or emergency contacts) are called.

If a student feels unwell during class, the teacher might contact a parent by phone.

Restricted Items

We ask that students do not bring snacks containing peanuts.

Tuition Policies

If you are joining mid-trimester, the tuition is pro-rated.The teacher will give you special instructions on the amount to pay.

  • A long vacation or other absence (at least two missed classes in a row).
